At Home Apothecary began with a simple discovery. I fell in love with tallow based skincare and the way it nourished my skin in a way nothing else had, and it felt like a return to something simpler and more honest. I started making it for myself, then for my family, and soon I was gifting it to friends. What began as something personal quickly spread through word of mouth as others fell in love with it too. During this time, I was home with my babies, making each batch in my kitchen with little ones underfoot, and this work grew naturally out of my daily life and my desire to use products I could trust on my own family. Every product I make is one I use in my home every day.
